Radish love.

Can we talk about how beautiful those radishes are? If I’ve learned anything about food thus far in my life…it’s that I am much more likely to enjoy my food when it looks like that. Vibrant. Colorful. Fresh. Not to say that a big plate full of brown carbs isn’t delicious…but there is something truly magical about that beautiful bunch of radishes. It’s truly the beginning of local produce in our area and it is one of the most magical seasons for a midwesterner.

I’m excited for this season, to say the least, and I can’t wait to keep seeing those new items pop up at the local farmer’s market. It’s like Christmas morning every time, especially when the first heirloom tomato shows up.
